At the top of my pile of new books waiting to be read is Lewis Carroll and 'Alice': the Savile Clarke Letters edited by Clare Imholtz and published this year by the Lewis Carroll Society of North America.
It is a beautifully produced book, I can see it is full of fascinating detail and I long to get started on it when I put away my current work for Christmas.
